They did it! Our Speech and Language therapy team, Ellie and Leanne, completed the 106km Isle of Wight two day ultra marathon challenge this bank holiday weekend to raise money for communication aids for the students. That’s over 33 miles of running a day!! The challenge was made even tougher by the hot weather, but the ladies were spurred on by messages of support provided by the students and staff.

They are delighted to have received so many generous donations that will go towards vital low tech communication equipment to support our learners with the most complex communication needs. We look forward to sharing some photos and videos of the new equipment in use when it is purchased.
